1. ABOUT THE PROMOTION/ELIGIBILITY: The "DEC Bushrangers Twitter" Promotion (the "Promotion") begins at 12:00:00 AM EST on December 10, 2009 and ends at 11:59:59 PM EST on March 31, 2009 (the "Promotion Period"). The Promotion is only open to legal Australian residents based in the state of Victoria at least 18 years or the age of majority at the time of entry. Entrants must have a public Twitter account and/or a Facebook account to participate in the Promotion. Employees and agents of The Victorian Cricket Association. ("Sponsor"), its affiliates, subsidiaries, and any entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration or fulfillment of the Promotion and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household as such individuals, are not eligible to participate or win. Participation in the Promotion constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final in all respects.
2. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, sign up or log on to your Twitter account and tweet the phrase "Just entered to win a new iPod and tickets to the KFC Big Bash. Just follow @bushrangers and re-tweet.http://bit.ly/sycbp". Entries should not contain profanity or inappropriate language or content. Inappropriate entries will be disqualified by Sponsor in its sole discretion. An eligible entrant may enter as many times as they like, however, only one prize per person will be awarded.
No attempts to enter by other means will be accepted. The Victorian Cricket Association is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, garbled, unintelligible or misdirected entries, or for any errors or failures of any kind (including but not limited to human error) in the transmission, receipt, or processing of entries.
3. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: At the end of each month during the Promotion Period, two (2) winners will be selected at random from among all entries received on Twitter. Non-winning entries will not be included in the following month’s drawing. Winners will be notified by an @ reply from bushranger to their Twitter accounts, or via Facebook message to their Facebook accounts. Winners will be required to provide a valid postal mailing address and must be able to collect the prize from Cricket Victoria (86 Jolimont St, Jolimont VIC 3002 in order to receive prize. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Limit one prize per person/address.
4. PRIZES: Eight (8) prizes: Eight (8) winners – two people each month during the Promotion Period - will each receive a Blue 8GB Apple iPod Nano and 4 tickets to any Ford Ranger Cup match played at the MCG. Approximate retail value of each prize: $235.00. Reporting and payment of all applicable taxes, fees, and/or surcharges are the sole responsibility of each winner. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. Any difference between the actual value of a prize and the approximated prize value as stated in these rules will not be awarded. Prize does not include transfers to and from the MCG, spending money, meals and any other ancillary costs related with taking the prize.
5. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: By entering, participants release and hold harmless Cricket Victoria, its subsidiaries, affiliates, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage arising from or in connection with participation in this promotion or acceptance/use of any prize. By entering, you agree that your tweet may be featured on the DEC Bushrangers website and you may receive @reply notifying that your tweet has been featured.
6. GENERAL: This Promotion is governed by the laws of Australia. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. The Victorian Cricket Association reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or modify this promotion if fraud or any other causes beyond its control destroys the integrity of the promotion, as determined by the Victorian Cricket Association in its sole discretion.
7. PRIVACY: By entering the Promotion, you agree to the Victorian Cricket Association use of your personal information as described in the Victorian Cricket Association’s Privacy Policy, located at http://www.bushrangers.com.au/#/about/privacy_statement
8. WINNERS' LIST: The names of the winners will be posted on the DEC Bushrangers website after the promotion is over for a period of at least 1 month.
