The horror form of the DEC Bushrangers in Darwin continued in their second match against the Queensland Bulls, falling short by 10 runs and conceding their fourth straight loss of the Top End Twenty20 tournament.

The Vics persisted with their out of the ordinary line up, electing to rest David Hussey with Matthew Wade taking the reins as captain and Ryan Carters taking his place as wicket-keeper.

The Bushrangers took to the field hoping to redeem their tournament performance; and started off well with Clint McKay taking the wicket of Ben Dunk and sending the Bulls to 1/3 in the second over.

John Hastings continued his strong bowling performance taking two wickets, whilst part timer Brad Hodge chipped in with one sending the Bulls to 4/54 at the half way point.

McKay stormed home taking two late wickets to restrict the Bulls to a modest yet competitive total of 6/121 at the end of their twenty overs.

Victoria's second innings lacked highlights with majority of the batmans failing to post a score above ten. They struggled to chase down the Queenslanders score with the top scorers being both Rob Quiney and Ryan Carters each reaching 21.
