Bushrangers name squad for One-Day clash against Tassie
Victorian selectors have named a 13-man squad for tomorrow's top of the table Ryobi One-Day Cup clash against the PKF Tasmanian Tigers.
Four changes have been made to the Bushrangers squad that played the last one-day match against New South Wales on December 23.
Into the team comes Andrew McDonald, who will captain the side, as well as Mark Cleary, Evan Gulbis and Peter Siddle.
They replace the three Victorians in the World Cup squad [Cameron White, David Hussey and John Hastings] while the injured Clint McKay was unavailable for selection.
Former South Australian Mark Cleary's inclusion in the squad comes off the back of several strong one-day performances for Premier team St Kilda.
In their most recent one-day match against Prahran, Cleary took 6/28 from his 10 overs. He has also provided some valuable runs down the order, averaging 24.5.
Carlton player Evan Gulbis will make his one-day domestic debut after recently playing two matches for the Bushrangers in the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. The batsman has been a constant performer at Premier level with Carlton for the past few seasons, finishing equal third in Ryder Medal.
Paceman Peter Siddle is back in the one-day team after featuring in the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash for Victoria and the Vodafone Ashes series, his inclusion critical to filling the hole in the bowling line-up left by the injured McKay.
The winner of tomorrow's match will go to the top of the table and all but secure a spot in the final with one game to play.
Tomorrow's match, to be played in forecast fine conditions, begins at 2.45pm.
