The DEC Bushrangers will travel north this week competing in a warm-up tournament against the South Australian Redbacks and Queensland Bulls from August 27 - 31 in Darwin.
The DEC Bushrangers will travel north this week competing in a warm-up tournament against the South Australian Redbacks and Queensland Bulls from August 27 - 31 in Darwin.
The Top End Twenty20 Challenge is an important event for the Bushrangers as it sees the squad come together for the first time before the Airtel Champions League T20 tournament in South Africa.
The tournament will also play host to Peter Siddle's highly anticipated return to cricket after more than six months on the sidelines with stress fractures in his back.
Captain David Hussey and Bryce McGain will rejoin the squad after stints in the UK, and young guns James Pattinson, Ryan Carters and Glen Maxwell return from a winter at Cricket Australia's Centre of Excellence in Brisbane.
