DEC Bushrangers squad named for clash with Blues
Tue, 9 February 2010
Victorian selectors have named a 13-man squad for the DEC Bushrangers’ Ford Ranger Cup clash against the RTA SpeedBlitz Blues tomorrow at the MCG. Chris Rogers returns to the limited overs team after recovering from a hand injury while Clint McKay’s availability will depend on his commitments with the Australian side in the Commonwealth Bank series. Brad Hodge is just 20 runs short of becoming the greatest all-time run scorer in Australian domestic one-day cricket history, with only Jimmy Maher’s 4,589 runs ahead of him. Hodge is the leading run scorer in the competition this season, with 467 runs at 66.71, with 3 centuries. The Bushrangers are currently in third position on the tight Ford Ranger Cup table, with the Blues equal on points and both teams having a game in hand on the second placed Warriors.
