Victoria names Fekete, Pattinson

The Commonwealth Bank Bushrangers have included Camberwell Magpies speedster Andrew Fekete in their 12-man squad for Saturday's RYOBI One-Day Cup clash with South Australia at the MCG.

Fekete is one of two changes from last week's side which fell one wicket short against the Redbacks at the Adelaide Oval, with Scott Boland returning at the expense of Peter Siddle (rested) and Jayde Herrick (ankle).

With the Commonwealth Bank Bushrangers no longer a mathematical chance of defending their title, coach Simon Helmot said Fekete was in contention to make his Victorian debut, but a decision on the final make-up of the side would not be made until match day.

"Andrew Fekete has bowled very well in Premier Cricket this year and has impressed in the Futures League," Helmot said.

"While our performances in the short form of the game haven't met our own expectations this year, we've still seen seven of our players go onto represent Australia in T20 or one-day cricket over the past 12 months and that's a positive."

Meanwhile, Test paceman James Pattinson will make his return to state cricket next week after being included in a 12-man Futures League squad to face South Australia in Adelaide from Monday.

Pattinson will be carefully managed through the four-day encounter which will be skippered by Glenn Maxwell, who is also returning from injury, and includes Commonwealth Bank Bushrangers Alex Keath, Michael Hill, Steven Gilmour and Boland.

For those attending Saturday's match, getting to the MCG is easy with public transport.

Catch a train that goes to either Jolimont station or Richmond station. It's only a short walk to the ground from either station.

Tram routes 48 and 75 run along Wellington Parade and you can get off at stop 11 to get to the ground.

Tram Route 70 takes you to the 'G by getting off at Stop 7C and walking across the footbridge.
