Identified as a potential Test player of the future, Peter Handscomb is one of the brightest young talents in the Victorian squad.
Handscomb enjoyed another successful Sheffield Shield campaign last season, hitting 784 runs including a tournament high 116 boundaries – a reflection of his timing and classy technique.
After producing a match-winning century alongside Travis Dean in the final against South Australia, Handscomb saved his best knock for last and in the process was awarded man-of-the-match honours.
