Bio:
Few players have made as big an impact in their first season as Chris Rogers did for the Bushrangers.
Coming across from WA, the left-hander formed the Sheffield Shield's best opening combination with Nick Jewell, the pair averaging 56.27 for the first wicket and scoring more than twice as many runs than any of other set of openers.
Rogers scored both the most centuries (5) and most half-centuries (5) in the Sheffield Shield while scoring 446 runs at 49.56 in the Ford Ranger Cup.
He was selected in both the Australian Cricketers Association four-day and one-day Team of the Year, while also being named Player of the Series in the Ford Ranger Cup.
The man known as 'Buck' continues to plunder runs in both the Weet-Bix Sheffield Shield and Ford Ranger Cup competitions and has recovered from a hand injury to strengthen the Vic's batting as they charge towards the business end of the season.
