Bio:
A lethal left-arm quick, Nannes had another terrific season in 2008-09 being named in the ACA Team of the Year in both the Weet-Bix Sheffield Shield and KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. He finished second on the wicket-takers' list in both forms, claiming 38 wickets at 21 in the Shield and 12 wickets at 13.83 in the Big Bash.
A late-starter to first-class cricket, Nannes is making up for lost time, representing the Netherlands in the ICC Word Twenty20 Championships (his parents are Dutch), making his Australian debut against Scotland in August and playing for the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL.
After an impressive start to the 2009/10 season, Nannes was kept on the sidelines for several months with a serious hamstring injury. He made his comeback for the Bushrangers during the Big Bash series, proving he is still a force to be reckoned with, taking 1-8 in the final. His electrifying bowling also earned him a place in the Australian Twenty20 team.
