Holland continued to develop as a spinner during 2010-11, enjoying his most successful Shield season. As Victoria's number one spinner, Holland played in seven matches and took 19 wickets. He bowled in several lengthy spells, with his four-wicket haul against South Australia in December being his most productive.

A character in the change rooms, 'Dutchy' spent the winter working hard on his game at the Cricket Australia Centre of Excellence. He also travelled to India with the Australian Institute of Sport on their Scholars Tour. He revelled in the sub-continent conditions, taking 4-7 in one match. The left-arm orthodox bowler also took part in the Emerging Players Tournament in July and August.
