Matthew Wade will be fighting for the mantle as Australia's number one wicket-keeper this season.
Having assumed the role in all three formats in 2012, the Commonwealth Bank Bushrangers gloveman will face pressure from Brad Haddin, who will tour England for the Ashes alongside Wade, as well as limited-overs specialist Tim Paine.
Wade played every match for Australia during 2012, striking 1018 runs, including a maiden Test century against the West Indies on a difficult pitch and an unbeaten 102 against Sri Lanka in Sydney.
Bushrangers supporters saw Wade in Victorian colours just three times last season, but he was still able to show his class, posting two valuable half-centuries and averaging 55.33.
